hardnesstester

Hardiness testers are referred to as automatic hardness testing equipment or machines. There are several testing methods hence different hardness testers. Brinell is one of the testing methods that require a special tester: Brinell hardness tester.

This hardness tester offers a wide range of measurement procedures and test loads hence offering the comfort of having one tester for several scales. Hardness testing workflow control and software offer endless functionality thanks to the state of the art artificial intelligence techniques.

There are several types of Brinell tester and the top one being the king Brinell portable tester. This tester is known for its versatility, affordability, accuracy, and durability. King Brinell tester has been in use for over 60 years now. Some of the most common and unique characteristics of king Brinell include:

• Lightweight

• Portable

• Easy to maneuver

• One operator can operate it

Another super Brinell hardness tester is pin tester. It is a versatile, compact, and economical to use hardness tester that provides low cost and accurate Brinell hardness tests for shop or field applications.

Pin Brinell tester uses a specific application method of the load. Force to the indenter is applied by either the C-clamp or a blow hammer.

Calibration of brinell testers

Brinell test block is the main equipment used for bench, portable, and brines hardness tester calibration. Every test block is placed in a computer-controlled heat treat furnace (vacuum) for treatment.

Brinell test blocks have five calibrations impressions and are certified according to ISO 6506 and ASTM-10 on Brinell testers. Brinell testers are designed to make useful impressions required for measuring metal hardness.
